Ding Yaoming

Male, born in June, 1963; master of science and obtained doctoral degree in Education in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), professor of School of Physics and Electronic Information Engineering of HBEU, master's supervisor of Central China Normal University(CCNU )；Hubei Young and Middle-Aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions; director of University Reform & Development Research Center of HBEU, director of Higher Education Research Academy of China, member of China Optoelectronics Association, standing director of South-central China Electronic Circuit Research Association of the Ministry of Education, the undergraduate teaching level evaluation expert of the Ministry of Education, vice director of Higher Education Research Academy of Hubei Province, and vice director of Higher Education Management Academy of Hubei Province; been mainly engaged in the researches of optoelectronic theory and higher education management for a long period; presided over and accomplished more than ten research projects at the provincial and ministerial level or above sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation of China one after another, published over 50 academic papers among which 18 were in Chinese core journals and 7 in EI reference source journals; chaired or participated in 7 projects (1 national key teaching research project, 5 provincial and ministerial key scientific research projects, 1 municipal scientific and technical innovation project) with 4 awarded provincial and ministerial first prize of teaching achievements; published and edited 10 monographs and teaching materials which were selected as the formal teaching books by the Ministry of Education; in September 2001, invited to give an academic report about “Simulation Analysis of Optimum Design of a Planar Array of Tapered Waveguides in Wavelength Multiplexer” in the plenary session by the organizing committee of the 15th National Laser and Photoelectron Academic Conference; his project “The Features of Optical WDM multiplexer/solution-Array Waveguide Grating in Technology” passed the provincial-level appraisal and reached the top level in China so that it was rated as an important provincial achievement in the development of advanced science and technology by Hubei Government in 2003.

Qin Caiqin

Tan Xiaoming Male, born in October 1961; doctor of science and professor of School of Chemistry and Materials Science of HBEU; master's supervisor of Central China Normal University(CCNU ); graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) and obtained doctoral degree in material science and engineering in HUST in June 2002; mainly engaged in the researches of functional polymer materials special coating and agglomerant; in recent years, chaired 4 projects including one Chinese postdoctoral fund project “Study on Penol Formaldehyde Resin - Borate Hydrogels ” and the important project supported by Hubei Education Department “Study on Manufacturing High-intensity Ester-Cured Nano-SiOx/Phenol-formaldehyde Resin Binder” etc.; taking part in one national natural science fund project “Study on Mold Filling and Solidification of Magnesium Alloy in Lost Foam Casting Process under Controllable Pressure and Interface Interaction ” and 3 other projects; published over 50 papers successively in domestic and international academic core journals with 3 in SCI and 10 in EI.

Li Chunsheng

Male, born in 1962; master of agronomy of Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU); Hubei Young and Middle-Aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions; a candidate of Hubei Second-class New Century High-level Creative Talent Development Project; professor of School of Life Science and Technology of HBEU; published over 30 papers, chaired many state or provincial and ministerial projects such as key program, China spark program, harvest program, 111 project, pollution-free food action plan, accelerating plan project, 863 program pilot project, preferred research project by high-level personnel, the winning project through national public bidding and eleventh five-year education and science planned project; awarded scientific and technological prize for the outstanding Youth in China agriculture, ministerial first prize and second prize of scientific and technological achievements, and Hubei provincial second prize of science and technology progress; attended the High-Level Forum Known as Academic Olympiads in the Great Hall of the People, warmly interviewed by the Party and state leaders such as Hu Jingtao and Wen Jiabao and took group photos with them; identified as one of agricultural science and technology talents in China, national outstanding agricultural science and technology worker, evaluation expert of engineering construction project supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Hubei provincial top ten youth as science and technology innovation model, the tenth Hubei Provincial People's Congress representative and the tenth Youth Federation member of Hubei Province.
